In shamanism the hummingbird is known as the messenger from heaven. It symbolizes the direction of the North, the place of the Seer. It is the place where we can set down the heavy stories we have been carrying and roles we have been playing and walk lighter. It is the place where we begin to see clearly. We align with the energy of the hummingbird who drinks the sweet nectar of life. And we can carry that sweetness within us moving forward. The hummingbird is my totem and I align with its energy during your reading.
